Make your own Music Flashcards

Friday, April 23rd, 2010

Music Flashcards are an excellent tool for any music teacher to have. You really don’t have to spend much money on flashcards – they are very easy to make. All you need is a laminator, which used to be something that was out of reach for many people, as they cost hundreds of dollars. However now with the big stationary “super stores” you can get a simple A4 laminator for between $20 and $40 in most cases. If you’ve got a laminator you don’t even need any heavy card stock: you can just print it out on standard paper and laminate the cards. All you then need is the artwork for the cards, and the Ultimate Flashcard set from the fun music company does provide everything you need – you can choose from a whole range of pitch cards in both treble and bass clefs, rhythm cards, time signature cards and italian terms.
