I was strolling through the mall one time and I happen to pass by my childhood friend when I was about to enter a bookstore. Looking at my friend, it looks like she just splurged some cash for shopping with all the shopping bags lying in the floor. I can’t help but to greet her and then I saw her holding a book that read something about the benefits for pregnant single mothers. When she saw me, she immediately embraced me and that’s when I learned that she was pregnant after seeing that big lump in her belly. I’ve never seen her so looking radiant before. I learned that shes going to be a mom soon, which explains finding her in the pregnancy books section of the bookstore. I didnt find the courage to ask her about the father of the baby since I know its not my business. But one definite thing I could say about her pregnancy was that she looked more beautiful than ever. I guess that’s one of the good things about being pregnant.

Bumping into My Pregnant Friend in a Bookstore
Saturday, July 2nd, 2011Things to Check Before Using Pride Mobility Scooters
Thursday, February 10th, 2011If you want to avoid any kind of mishap with your Pride Mobility Scooter, then you should definitely create a list of the things that you need to check before using it. Here are some of the things that need to be included in that list.
The light switches need to be checked. You’ll never know when you’ll need to use your front or rear lights.
The horn button is extremely important even though using it might seem obnoxious to other people. You don’t want to be the crazy person next door who’s yelling at everybody else instead of honking at them, do you?
You should always use your hazard lights whenever necessary. A scooter that’s running at a speed of 5.75mph is not as noticeable as you think.
For this reason, you also need to check your turn signal lights and buttons. You can never be too safe especially when there are other drivers involved.
Home Health Cannot Be Left to Chance
Sunday, December 5th, 2010Home health cannot be left to chance. Too often people take for granted their health and well being. But simply ask anyone who has had a family member require care giver services and you will reconsider your position. Things like long term care and hospice care are facts of life for many citizens and to assume that “that sort of thing” happens to someone else is foolhardy. Being aware of the home care service providers in your area is just prudent. Make sure to talk to people in your community to find good references. It should be met with the same careful attention one would exercise when choosing insurance coverage or a car mechanic, you want the one best suited to meet your needs. There are many excellent companies that work hard to provide safe, competent, professional care. Knowing who they are and what they do will provide you and your family with the knowledge and confidence to make great decisions.
To Give Support To A Friend In Need Is Invaluable
Monday, July 19th, 2010A friend at work became single after her Husband left her for another woman, she was really upset as they had two children both under five years old. I advised her that although it is really hard for her, she needed to get organised and find out what she would be entitled to now that she was on her own with two dependant children. It was really hard seeing her call up the benefit office, I heard her say, “what benefits and tax credits do I qualify for?” She had no idea that there was so much talking and paperwork to go through before they sorted her out with any money! It was so hard for her to deal with things when the children were asking her so many questions! She felt broken, deceived and hurt. I was there popping around to make sure she was okay for the next few weeks and she told me how she had applied for all of her benefits and they were sorting it all out for her.
