My husband and I plan a trip every year and I am always pleasantly surprised by all of the places that he chooses for us to visit. We have been as far away as the Australian hills and as close as the Rocky Mountains. Most of the places we have been to have been very exotic and beautiful and I am happy to have a husband that values travel as much as I do. A few weeks ago he came to me and told me that he is interested in us trying something called glamping for our next trip. I had never heard of the tehe term so I asked him to explain what that is. Glamping is when luxury tents are set up in camping spots and you are able to enjoy the outdoors without worrying about uncomfortable sleeping bags and foods that may have been caught in the wild. That sounds pretty intriguing, so like always I am very happy with his selection.

I was talking with one of my closest friends and I was telling him that I’m tired of driving, I hate traffic, I hate getting lost, and stuff like that. He told me that now there are some great online mapping services that offer efficient routes that allow users to avoid traffic and helps them save a lot of time, he said that Google Maps and Mapquest are the best. I’ve used Google Maps and Mapquest many times but I’ve used them only to explore and print maps, I never thought that the route planner was so good, I thought that because it was free it would never measure up to advanced GPS routing systems, turns out I was wrong, according to my friend these sites are better than GPS services. I will Google Mapquest driving directions today to find Mapquest.com in order to create my first efficient route.
Our School Trip Coach Hire Broke Down
Friday, August 19th, 2011Who was in charge of the coach hire for our field trip? You can tell if wasn’t well-maintained the moment you stepped in. The smell was a combination of dried sweat, engine oil and a bit of urine. The air conditioning didn’t work, which was just as well because you couldn’t close the windows. And just as predicted, the thing broke down an hour into the trip. We spent an hour waiting for the repair truck to arrive. Granted, we were in no hurry to get to the science museum, but I could think of several better things we could have spent our time with. So the class behaved well, more or less, until the faculty sorted out the mess. Of course, being late, we crashed into other class trips scheduled during the same day. Lucky us, there were cute students from the other schools, and a few of us actually got their names and mobile numbers because we’re that cool. I will suggest that the coordinators better choose a good coach hire company the next time.

The Day Marcel Announced His Engagement
Wednesday, July 6th, 2011Our relationship had blossomed out of the most wonderful and trusting friendship. We met as students whilst studying in Paris together on a fine art degree course. Marcel was different to any of the other young men in my year. He was mature beyond his years and always had a very gentlemanly approach to everything he did. He wasn’t the best looking guy at university but he definitely had something special. After two years of friendship we began dating and our love continued to grow each day. Then in 1999 after spending three joyous and memorable years together Marcel announced that he had met someone new. My heart was broken and I didn’t know where to turn. My decision to return to England was not an easy one but I had to distance myself from him altogether so I left France to go back home and live with my parents for a while. When the invitation came announcing his engagement to his new girlfriend I almost collapsed. They were to celebrate their engagement in one of the hotels in Strasbourg where we had stayed on several occasions. There would be a huge party and I was invited to attend. How could he be so cruel?

I Want to Run Away
Sunday, May 29th, 2011I have considered running away to man times. I thought about purchasing train tickets all by myself and then just pack a suitcase and board a train. I’d love to go far, far away where I don’t have to think about my situation anymore. This is the second girlfriend that has left me since I moved to this horrible, wretched place. There is nothing but bad memories here, and I can’t believe that I am stuck here until my sister is done with school. She is not the problem though. It’s all these other people in my life that are making me want to leave. I don’t like the aunt that I’m staying with. She doesn’t approve of my girlfriends. I also don’t like the girlfriend that have left me for someone else. It really hurts to see the girls you love run away with another man. It’s not something to write home to mom about.
